The Popular Show Campaign 4 Reveals the Fighters Group

Since the launch of Campaign 4, new Dungeon Master Brennan Mulligan has kept fans guessing with extensive world-building, a wide array of heroes, and a exciting storyline showcasing divine entities, fiends, and sinister influences growing in strength within the city.

Warning: Spoilers for the third episode of Campaign 4 lie ahead.

The Soldiers Table Unveiled

The third episode finished on a major cliffhanger and introduced the initial group of adventurers who will branch out from the primary party to embark on their independent quest, separate from the remaining groups.

This warrior group features Teor (brought to life by Travis Willingham), the nimble rogue (Laura), the strong-willed figure (the cast member), Wicander (Sam Riegel), and Kattigan Vale (Robbie Daymond).

Why Split the Party?

Considering a large ensemble, it was evident from the beginning that maintaining everyone at a single group would be impossible.

Hence, the opening chapters of this story serve as an Overture, weaving together the characters’ stories before splitting into three smaller tables: Fighters, Schemers, and Explorers.

What Defines the Warrior Group

According to the DM, the warrior group is for players who prefer a typically action-packed fight-heavy gameplay experience where diplomatic options are rare.

At first glance, figures such as the reluctant priest the cleric might seem mismatched, but the developments of the latest installment show why these specific adventurers are best suited for the warrior group.

Reasons to Leave

For one thing, the team understands precisely where to head next after a violent opening clash with the enemy group.

Casimir of Thjazi—whose death initiated the story’s plot—exploited the enemy for his own means, breaking into the secret base, attacking the character, and swiping all the powerful objects to sell off.

Casimir then settled his liabilities and ran away to a Halovar stronghouse in the remote area, north of Dol-Makjar, with Cyd Pridesire close behind.

Character Drivers

Moreover, each member has a personal reason to leave the city Dol-Makjar:

  • Thimble, as the close ally and closest confidant, wants vengeance.
  • The adventurer knows the northern area and advises that it is a dangerous environment.
  • Tyranny and The healer, having resisted his relatives’ demands to eliminate Teor and instead saved him, have no safe haven.
  • Yet, their reputation as key figures in House Halovar could help the group access locations they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Additionally, The grateful character swore a eternal obligation to Wicander for his salvation and will now go with him everywhere.

Fugitives

In addition, all of them are sought by the powers that rule the city for a variety of reasons, making lingering locally no longer safe:

  • The agile adventurer and Kattigan are notorious outlaws.
  • The warrior and The cleric betrayed the influential house and the army of fiends they are partnered with.
  • Teor is wanted dead by the clan.

This results in them few options but to head to Timmony in pursuit of the traitor.

What’s Next?

According to the recent installment’s follow-up content, we learn that the warrior group will not appear in the upcoming installment, leaving the remaining eight cast members to assemble the Explorers and Schemers parties.

Fans can anticipate learning which characters will be assigned to which table in the season’s final introductory chapter, available to watch on the upcoming Thursday.
